RLL Faculty & Students share their poetry on Life/Lines

The Center for the Humanities Life/Lines  is inspiring students and faculty in the Romance Languages and Literatures Department.  Life/Lines is a daily poetry practice with writing prompts for published and novice poets alike.  On April 6th, Hispanic Studies Candidate Olivia Lott was Life/Lines' guest curator.  Browse the poems inspired by her writing prompt including some by students enrolled in Professor Lionel Cuillé's FREN 325 "Defining Difference."

The FREN 325 students continued their contributions on April 15th.  Students were prompted to write a short poem including each of the following 5 words:

⦁    un ange (“angel”)
⦁    une glace (“a mirror,” “an ice-cream”)
⦁    fier (“proud”)
⦁    un enchevêtrement (“entanglement”)
⦁     une saison (“a season”)

Some creations include this poem by Nick Henke:
********
-Nick Henke
